  1.     The MODERATOR SETMOD command lets you set or change the moderator for the
  2. current channel.  Depending on your security level and the channel that you are
  3. in, you may lose your own moderator powers by issuing this command!  Generally,
  4. if the channel is your own personal channel, if you are a sysop, or if you meet
  5. the moderator security requirements for the current channel, then you will
  6. _not_ lose your moderator powers.  If you received moderatorship from another
  7. user, you likely _will_ lose your powers.  To change or set the moderator,
  8. enter the following command:

  10. MODERATOR SETMOD <name>
  11.  
  12.     <name> is the name or partial name of the user that you wish to give
  13. moderator powers.
